A recommendation should earn its place.
The source, the exact model, the routine and the limits. Here is how we turn research into a useful choice.
Four checks before a recommendation.
Identify the actual equipment.
Match the US model, manufacturer variant, material and bundle. “Essenza Mini” alone does not identify the selected De’Longhi EN85B. A family description is not automatically a revision-specific specification.
Find the strongest source for the claim.
Use manufacturer documents and manuals for features and operation. Keep independent performance observations attributed to the reviewer who made them. Community questions can identify objections, but they do not establish reliability or return rates.
Map the whole routine.
Connect the body to refill, preparation, serving and cleanup. Separate equipment already owned from requirements and optional upgrades. The basket or brewing method may change the grinder answer.
Show a reason to choose and a reason to stop.
Explain who a route suits, what it requires and when to skip it. Preserve alternatives outside the shortlist. Keeping useful gear should remain a visible and credible answer.
What the diagrams mean.
Our original graphics explain working-space relationships, equipment roles and decision paths. A conceptual drawing is not a photograph, product test or exact-scale fit certificate. A stated body dimension is tied to its source and model; moving-part access must be checked separately.
What the 3D planner checks.
The 3D setup planner calibrates the ten independent exteriors to published body envelopes or your own measurements. Products without usable dimensions remain marked illustrative and cannot pass a measured body check. Rotated envelopes and conservative circular footprints are compared in centimeters; detailed surfaces are illustrations, not engineering CAD. Working bands are conceptual prompts until you enter your own assumptions.
What the home scenes show.
The kitchen scenes are original AI-generated editorial images of everyday routines and shared counter space. Their equipment is illustrative, not a photograph of an exact product edition or evidence of hands-on testing. Product identification and advice remain tied to the cited sources and independent exterior studies.
What we do not claim.
We have not tested taste, noise, grind distribution, extraction, durability or physical operating clearances ourselves. Manufacturer claims and third-party tests do not become our firsthand experience. We do not copy Amazon ratings, review counts or a live price into a guide.
Known model gaps stay open.
The Bambino’s published dimension order is unresolved in the underlying research. The selected Hario scale listing and current catalogue have different revision suffixes. We withhold exact-fit and revision-specific precision claims until the relevant evidence is established.
Research dates appear on the guides and in source notes. Products, bundles, offers and documentation can change. A changed fact or a well-supported correction is a reason to update the relevant recommendation.
